Breaking Quarantine for the Beach 🏝

“I’ve recently had the best layover on a exclusive island that was like a piece of heaven on earth.”

This pandemic that has literally shocked the world we all once knew. Traveling during this time has been rough on trying to adapt to different norms of social distancing.
As a crew, we were told to stay in our rooms the entire time we were on this beautiful island or risk being fined if we didn’t comply.
Sunrise began at 7:15 local time. We made an effort to get up and put on our swimsuits and try to be incognito as much as possible.

We arrived on one side of the island where the view was absolutely breathtaking.

We didn’t stop there, somehow we scurried to another side of the beach for a better view with baby crabs and large ships.
The girls and I, totally forgot about being on lockdown and enjoyed each wave as it came in. A chance of a lifetime to be upon this island due to it being a british territory, leased to the United States.

Charlie Angels…

I personally don’t think things will every be the same, but we can’t forget the little things like catching a glimpse of a sunrise.
This trip and this crew, were all odd balls but worth the memories and friendship built by taking chances during quarantine.
My advice is to stay safe, explore the world and leave your footprints in the sand, while cleaning up behind yourself!
