Day Trip to Mexico 🇲🇽
I worked a flight into El Paso,Texas and some of the crew made plans to head over and cross the border into Mexico for some fun.
We walked to an ATM for cash, then caught a Lyft to the El Paso PDN Port of Entry and walked across the bridge. The toll to get in was 50 cents per person.
After entry, there were several shops open selling hand crafted authentic Mexico products and tasty street food.
Ciudad Juárez is the most populous city within the Mexican state of Chihuahua.
With culture booming at its fingertips, we walked the streets of Juárez and into a few shops with amazing keepsakes.
One things for sure, the store owner is gonna give you one hell of a deal you can’t turn away.
From shot glasses, huaraches and sombreros everything is super affordable and make for great souvenirs or gifts.
So, of course we loved every minute of it!!!
Was able to have breakfast and walk around the city to take pictures of the fantastic art and monuments.
Getting back into the states was relatively easy and efficient. 30 cents to cross back over with photo id without any fruits or veggies.
The day was well spent and for my first time in Mexico, I enjoyed every moment in Juárez.
