Secret Swings

San Diego has secret swings located in various locations throughout the city. I’ve made it my mission to visit at least one.
From what I’ve heard, no one really knows who puts up the swings. It is apparently, truly a mystery!
One things for certain! The “secret swings,” are indeed a secret to many because they are tucked away, hidden and required a bit of a hike.

The most visited swing is right by the Birch Aquarium.
Park at the visitor parking lot for free and you’ll see a hill.
There are makeshift stairs leading you up the hill for about a two minute hike.
Once at the top you are met with a beautiful view!
Also not one but two swings in one location!

Endless Possibilities!

Be patient, sometimes there is a wait for pictures but nothing too dramatic.
The two swings are right by each other, so there’s no need for a second hike.
I enjoyed myself, the view and can’t wait to go back in search of the others!
